Jeep Wrangler TJ & LJ Elite Series Fiberglass Hood. Each hood is hand made right here in the USA to meet our high quality standards.
– This hood is designed to bolt right on your 97-06 TJ or LJ with stock or aftermarket standard height Fenders.
– The weight savings of these hoods is phenomenal at only 20lbs vs factory steel hood weighing in at 40lbs.
– The top layer is a UV Stable marine grade black gel coat for a long lasting and durable finish. Hand laid fiberglass, fiberglass interior structural ribs and interior black gel coat for a clean look under the hood as well.
– Mounting holes are drilled and tapped to accept factory hinges, hood prop, grill rubber bumpers, safety catch & latches.
– Threaded holes have thick aluminum plate sandwiched in the fiberglass.
-The Front corners where the latches mount have extra reinforcement for strength.
– Holes for footman loop, windshield bumpers and washer nozzle have been left out for a smooth clean look but, could be easily drilled if desired.
-The top vent allows heat to escape and is cnc laser cut and formed from perforated Stainless Steel. It can be left shiny stainless or painted to match a color.
– This hood comes completely finished and ready to install but, could be painted if desired.
– Note: This hood is a direct replacement for a stock hood, if you have highline fenders check out our highline hoods.
