This backing plate makes using the machine much easier because the slight slanting of the polisher is balanced out, thus preventing the machine from “dancing”. In particular, when lambswool pads are used, the pad’s soft foam layer adjusts optimally to the contours of the surface. Adapter thread: M14 (for rotary polishers).
